In the fall of 2011 much of the Western world was oblivious to the widespread famine ravaging Eastern Africa. A historic drought had severely limited access to water and food for thousands of people, putting children and the elderly at great risk. Sadly like so many other tragic human rights events happening in another corner of the world, it wasn't getting the media attention it so badly deserved.
With this in mind, Made By Many of London approached BSSP to partner with them on 50:50 an endeavor to create and launch 50 projects in 50 days designed to raise awareness and generate donations for UNICEF's famine relief efforts.
As part of our involvement, we created Let's Not Do Lunch, a social media campaign that asked advertising agencies and their employees to forgo their expensed lunches and drinks and donate to UNICEF instead.
